I also samples a – and I quote – ‘Smack Barm Pea Wet’ which is–Smack (Potato Scollop) battered and double thick–nice, in a Barm (Bread Bun) with pea juice. This was simply awesome.
I also, a week later, under the recommendation of m’colleague went to the chippy in Orrell called Gaskells Fish & Chips, had the same thing. Kitt Green had better chips and better pudding.
Total: 15,000 calories – who’s counting, oh wait I am on a diet, so me 😂.
